Looking to upgrade the crawl space vapor barrier. Estimator was timely and very professional. This is a relatively small job as we have encountered with other estimates, there is a minimum job charge. SafeBasement bid was over $1500 higher than other bids, but not the highest we received. The estimator did his diligence to include as much as possible to satisfy their minimum pricing, however it is much higher than we are budgeting for this project. No high pressure sales pitch, just an honest evaluation from the estimator. Did some research on the suggestion to replace fiberglass batts in the rim joists with spray foam and found that spray foam may not be the best solution as it can promote wood rot as the moisture can get trapped in the wood where it meets the foam.

These guys are fantastic! I had a particularly tricky job with a foundation repair and unexpected changes. Everyone I interacted with was compassionate, knowledgeable, and responsive. The crew patiently answered all my questions at every step, and they made sure I felt confident knowing proper maintenance and what to look out for. Nick and Isaiah were wonderful to work with, they answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them), were professional, personable and knowledgeable. They kept assessing what needed to be done based on the changing issues. They put in 2 wall anchors, wrapped the block, water proofed it, put cement and mortar in all cracks, put in a frost barrier and added an external sump pump due to the water not draining and the clay dirt. Can't say enough good things about them, safe basements and Nate who was my main contact.

Bryce did a thorough inspection of my basement walls and an exceptional job of explaining to me the need to stabilize the north wall based on precise laser measurements. The north wall was outside of engineering structural tolerance. I was offered a fabulous financing offer and pre-qualified the same day. A week later the installation team of Brandon and Alex arrived on time and provided friendly and professional workmanship. Within 6 hours my north wall was stabilized and all work expertly completed and cleaned up better than when they arrived. We just had egress windows installed by Mike, John, and Colton, and I could not have asked for a faster or more professional job. If you are finishing a basement or looking to add natural light and safety to your lower level in, these are the guys to call. They absolutely added equity to our home with their master workmanship. The site was kept clean, the structural work is flawless, and the final result is beautiful. I never knew an egress windows could add square footage of livable space to your home! I had unexplained water leaking into my finished basement and I had called a few different places to provide me with quotes thinking that I had a foundation issue. Jon Stifter from SafeBasements was the third person to come out to diagnose my issue. Within 5 minutes of being in my home, he was able to tell me that my foundation was not the issue. I was shocked since I had already received two other quotes to rip out walls and jackhammer my basement floor to install a new drainage system and triple sump pump. (Turns out that my water heater had a slow leak that had been draining for quite some time under the wall and had finally saturated my carpet enough to be noticeable.) A huge THANK YOU to Jon Stifter for his knowledge and more importantly his honesty! He was very straightforward and answered all the additional questions I had about my sump pump. He made some suggestions for upgrades including a battery backup, but did not make me feel pressured in any way. It is very reassuring to know there are people like Jon and businesses like SafeBasements that still make customer service a priority! I didn’t need my foundation repaired, but I will most certainly be trusting Safe Basements to install my new sump pump!!

We had tile put all around the basement edges. The person who came to give the quote was very helpful in explaining what he was seeing, what needed to be done and answering all questions. They scheduled us in very quickly and the team of workers (Matt, Cody, and Mike) were very courteous and hard working. They kept things picked up and clean at they worked and left the basement in great shape. They answered all the questions we had along the way.I would recommend to anyone.I am so excited not to have to worry about water clean up after the next big rain! Thanks for the great work guys!

I had some water leakage coming from my foundation. I called SafeBasements and they came out and figured out the issues with my foundation drainage. They had a solution to the problem with an outstanding price compared to other companies. They worked out a date and time frame that worked with me and came out to complete the job fast, effectively and efficiently. They even covered up and closed off the area with plastic to not have dust come up! Finished job was outstanding! I know I’ll never have any further issues going forward; and lifetime warranty!
