Helical Piers for New Construction
If you have a structure in Minnesota or eastern North Dakota that is unstable, or located in a windy/gusty area, helical piers are the solution for you. Helical Piers help support the weight of hefty commercial columns and wall loads. These types of foundation piers work by being "screwed" into the soil, to the correct depths of hard bedrock or stable soil, then being bolted or molded into the building's foundation with concrete. This enables the weight of the structure to be shifted from unstable or weak soil, to stable soil or bedrock. Helical piers can also be used to anchor buildings or structures to the earth. One of the easiest instances to visualize would be a windmill. These structures stand up to tremendous gusts of wind, and are very tall. Without a way for them to be anchored to the earth, it would fall over.
Our helical piers were specially-engineered with the working contractor in mind. SafeBase™ Helical Piers are able to be installed in all types of weather conditions, and installation is made much simpler due to only needing small tools for installation. They install without expensive or messy excavation, and allow concrete to be poured soon after being placed into the ground.
