For many years, we poured new foundations. We did commercial, residential, and agricultural foundations. However, seeing that the need was strong, we began taking on the challenge of doing basement repair. Our new basements are designed to be dry, level, plumb, square, radon free and strong, using the highest quality materials available today. Building codes are a minimum standard and most contractors only build to meet these codes. We design our basements to not only meet, but to exceed construction codes. This may cost a little more, but in the long run, will save you money by avoiding numerous future problems. You also have the advantage of living in a house with a safe, worry free and healthy basement!
We only do poured walls or insulated concrete forms because we rarely see any problems with poured walls. Poured walls usually remain dry and strong. We use our interior and exterior waterproofing systems for a completely dry basement. We also put our radon mitigation system in, so you can breath easy.
Additionally, we test the soil to be sure it can handle the weight of the structure. If the soil isn’t fit, we can install our new construction piers or do some soil replacement. Soil testing is going to be part of code in the near future because settling basements has become such a problem. Our basements come with the best warranty in the industry!
